It had been a while since I photographed a wedding at Aston Wood Golf Club. This a venue I have worked at many times and located not far from where I live, which is a bonus!
I remember Rebecca and Adrian contacting me two years ago about the photograph for their wedding. They rescheduled the date for obvious reasons. And as soon as their big day arrived, it did not seem like two years ago when we last met. How time flies!
About Rebecca & Adrian’s Wedding Day
After an intimate ceremony indoors, the wedding party went outside for drinks and canapés. During this time, I took photos of the bride, groom and their guests mingling and chatting. The weather stayed dry for most of the day. But honestly, the rain never spoils the fun atmosphere on a wedding day.
The sun came out in the afternoon, so I took advantage of the picturesque surroundings by taking Rebecca and Adrian for a walk in the landscaped gardens. Here, I took formal and candid photos of them both. I try not to make my images look staged or directed because I prefer the look of candid wedding photos.
